The Second Street Farmers' Market
Bringing locally sourced food from our neighbors’ farms to your family’s table.
Come get fresh with us
the Second Street Farmers’ Market
Amherst’s Original Farm Market.
Now entering our 7th season, the Second Street Farmers’ Market lives to serve YOU – our neighbors and friends. We know how important it is to have fresh, healthy, locally sourced food to feed our families. We also believe in sourcing our food from our neighbors and friends.
Our market is held Thursday afternoons so you can pick up fresh food on the way home from work, or after you pick the kids up from school.
Artisans – We’re looking for you!
Whether you’re a baker, a knitter, a woodworker or a stained glass artist – we would love to have you at our market! There are no upfront costs, just a 10% service fee to help cover operating costs for the market. Get our vendor guidelines and application HERE.
Double SNAP Benefits
We’re delighted to be able to offer double SNAP benefits for purchases of fresh produce. It’s just our way of taking care of our community. Call 434.941.0997 or speak with our Market Manager to learn more.
